Journey into a place of stillness, rest and deep relaxation with Michelle from Edge of Sacred. ☾
How does it work?
These otherworldly, meditative soundscapes are designed to activate the body's parasympathetic nervous system - the opposite of the fight or flight response. Great for those suffering from stress, anxiety, overthinking and sleepless nights.
You will be invited to find a place to sit and get comfortable. Often starting with a short guided relaxation, you have the option to sit or lay back while I play a variety of instruments including crystal singing bowls, gong and other grounding instruments to soothe the mind, body and soul. Sometimes these sessions also use voice, offering a deepened ethereal experience.
How will I feel?
Some people will become relaxed and sleepy while others may feel energised. Sometimes we may feel emotional as our energies shift and release, and other times we may feel nothing at all. My intention for the session is to provide a sonic massage for the body and mind while helping you to relax and 'simply be' while inviting a deeper connection with self beyond the everyday. Oh and it's perfectly ok to fall asleep!
What do I need to bring?
Bring a pillow, blanket and yourself! Everything else is provided although you may wish to bring extra layers, blankets and comforts to ensure you are super comfortable.
Who is this not suitable for?
